Aton Health Teams Up with Gastro Health on Observational Study Pilot to Improve Early Detection of Colorectal Cancer

KANSAS CITY, MO — December, 2025—Aton Health, a leader in accelerating the progress and accuracy of cancer and chronic disease research is piloting an observational research effort with Gastro Health, a national, leading medical group specializing in digestive and liver health.

This innovative research pilot will actively engage over 100 Gastro Health clinicians and their patients in developing new colorectal cancer screening tests to detect advanced adenomas and colorectal cancer in its most effectively treatable stages.

“Aton Health’s model is built on the belief that clinicians should be in the driver’s seat in the development of any screening standard,” said Tom Sanders, CEO of Aton Health. “This pilot is exciting in that it not only actively engages clinicians in one of the country’s largest and most respected gastroenterology groups, but further solidifies our focus and commitment to advancing research in the GI space.”

“This pilot is yet another example of Gastro Health’s commitment to elevating our research division,” said Chris Fourment, MD, Vice President of Clinical Research at Gastro Health. “This innovative program will allow any of our clinicians to participate in critical research even if they are outside traditional research centers perfectly complements and expands our other research efforts.”
