Aton Health Welcomes Justin Scherbring as Executive Director, Data & Analytics
Experienced data and analytics leader joins Aton to strengthen the infrastructure connecting clinical research, diagnostic innovation and patient care
Kansas City, MO, August 26, 2026 — Aton Health has announced that Justin Scherbring has joined the company as Executive Director, Data & Analytics, strengthening Aton’s leadership team as the company continues to expand its technology, data and analytics capabilities.
In his new role, Scherbring will lead data and analytics across Aton Health, with responsibility for building a reliable, scalable data foundation spanning the company’s TrialSight™ CRM data pipelines and Microsoft Fabric analytics platform. He will work across Aton Health’s CRM, integration and application development teams to support current operations while modernizing the company’s infrastructure for continued growth.
“Data is increasingly central to our ability to connect patients, providers and sponsors and turn diagnostic and clinical innovation into coordinated action,” said Tom Sanders, CEO of Aton Health. “Justin brings the combination of strategic perspective and hands-on technical expertise we need as Aton Health grows. His ability to turn complex operational data into trusted, actionable information will help us scale while continuing to improve the experience and outcomes we deliver for our partners and the patients they serve.”
Scherbring brings more than a decade of experience in business intelligence, data architecture and analytics leadership across healthcare and other complex industries. Most recently, he led the BI and Analytics practice at 3Cloud, where he managed a consulting team while architecting Power BI solutions and enterprise data platforms. Previously, he served in Accenture’s Health and Public Services practice as Technical BI Lead on a major analytics platform redesign used across health systems nationwide and led business intelligence and data initiatives for several health plans. He began his career as an engineer at Raytheon.
Scherbring holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s degree from Saint Louis University, along with Microsoft certifications in Data Analytics and Azure.
“Aton Health gives me the opportunity to bring together the full breadth of what I’ve built throughout my career and apply it in an environment where the work can have an outsized impact,” said Scherbring. “Healthcare data and AI are advancing quickly enough to address problems that have remained difficult for years, from helping patients find clinical trials to closing the gap between a positive screening and follow-up care. Applying modern data platforms to those challenges, knowing that better data can ultimately mean better or faster care for real people, is exactly the kind of work I want to be doing.”
Scherbring was also drawn to Aton by the opportunity to work within a growing, mission-focused organization and to reunite with colleagues he had worked with previously.
